By accessing and using Black Grail ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Black Grail is a platform dedicated to curating and preserving historically significant African American and Black cultural treasures. Our services include:

• Educational resources and historical documentation
• Consignment services for authenticated cultural artifacts
• Research and authentication services
• Community features for collectors and enthusiasts

3. User Accounts and Registration

To access certain features of our Service, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Consignment Terms

For items submitted to Black Grail through our consignment program, the following terms apply:

• All consignment submissions are subject to curatorial review and may be accepted, declined, or returned at our sole discretion
• Consignors must be the rightful owner of the item and warrant clear title, authenticity, and accurate provenance to the best of their knowledge
• Accepted items are listed at a mutually agreed asking price and are subject to Black Grail's stated commission rate
• Consignors are responsible for safe shipping of items to Black Grail; insurance during transit is strongly recommended
• Payouts are issued to the consignor after the buyer's funds have cleared and any return window has passed
• Items that do not sell within the agreed listing window may be re-listed, repriced, or returned to the consignor at our discretion
• Black Grail reserves the right to remove or refuse any consignment that misrepresents the item's authenticity, condition, or cultural significance

5. Authentication and Authenticity

While we strive to provide accurate authentication and historical documentation, Black Grail makes no warranties regarding the authenticity, condition, or provenance of items beyond our stated research findings. All authentication opinions are subject to further research and scholarly debate.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our Service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit unlawful acts
• To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations or laws
• To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
• To submit false or misleading information
• To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Black Grail and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written consent.

9. Termination

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
